Start with your manuscript and your goal.

AiToolsForWriters is designed mainly for fiction authors working with a DOCX manuscript. The same manuscript can move through review, rewriting, translation and formatting workflows, while Story Lab and Promo Studio cover analysis and promotion.

1. Upload a DOCX manuscript

Your uploaded file becomes the source document for manuscript workflows. A clean chapter and heading structure helps the platform preserve the book accurately.

2. Choose the job you need

Use Editorial Review to diagnose the book, Rewrite to transform prose, Translation to create another-language edition, or Formatting to prepare Kindle or print output.

3. Understand credits

Tasks consume credits according to the tool, selected AI quality/model and manuscript size. Credits do not expire. The estimated cost is shown before a task is launched whenever the workflow supports estimation.

4. Let long tasks run

Large manuscript jobs run in the cloud. You do not need to leave the browser open while processing continues, and completed work remains associated with your account.

5. Continue the publishing workflow

A useful order for a finished draft is often: review → revise → translate if needed → format → promote. You can use only the stages relevant to your book.
