Getting Started
AI Tools For Writers is built for fiction writers who already have a draft in .docx and want to polish it before publishing or translate it at a professional level that typical machine translation cannot reach for complex novels.
For best results, your .docx should already be structured into chapters, parts, or sections. The specific formatting styles do not matter; clear structure helps the system understand the text and keep coherence.
Upload your .docx files in "My Files" and choose a tool from the actions column.
- Files are stored securely in your account.
- Each task spends points based on the selected quality.
My Files
- Upload new .docx files and manage your library.
- Download files anytime or delete files you no longer need.
- Use the action buttons to start Translate, Rewrite, or Format tasks.
Translate
- Set the destination language (for example: Spanish, German, French).
- Use "Other instructions" to define style, tone, or terms to keep unchanged.
- Choose Paragraph or Logical translation and pick the AI platform.
- Select the quality level to control cost and model.
Rewrite
- Provide clear rewrite instructions to guide tone and style.
- Choose Paragraph or Logical mode based on structure needs.
- Select AI platform and quality to balance cost and output.
Paragraph vs Logical Mode
- Paragraph mode uses each paragraph as an independent block.
- Logical mode tries to detect larger, coherent blocks (for example a whole scene) even when the original uses multiple paragraphs. This keeps more context and usually improves translation or rewrite quality.
Quality and Models
- Higher quality models cost more points but deliver better results.
- If you are unsure, we usually recommend Anthropics models for fiction.
- Sonnet often provides the best balance between cost and output quality.
Format
- Define headings, font size, author and title details.
- Choose format type and optional extra pages or table of contents.
- Formatting keeps your document consistent for publishing.
- Use this to prepare a file that is nearly ready for Amazon KDP (Print or Kindle).
Running Jobs
- Track task status and progress in real time.
- Newest tasks appear first with their start time.
- Large manuscripts can take a long time, sometimes hours.
Transactions and Points
- Check your balance and history in Transactions.
- Buy points to keep working without interruptions.
- Costs depend on manuscript length and quality. Translating a 500-page novel can cost only around 3 EUR in points.

Results and Workflow Tips
- Translation and rewrite try to preserve your original formatting and styles.
- When a task finishes, a new file appears in your list. The original file is not overwritten.
- You do not need to stay online. Tasks run in the cloud; you can come back later to download the result.
- We recommend testing with a small .docx first to compare options and settings.
